The Florida Horse Council represents its members on a state level in Tallahassee and on a national level in Washington D.C. through the American Horse Council.
The Florida Horse Council safeguards the $ 5.1 billion generated every year by Florida’s horse industry by creating a favorable business climate for its revenue to grow.
The Florida Horse Council gives a unified voice to the 440,000 Florida residents who participate in our horse industry.
The Florida Horse Council will deal with issues such as growth management, taxes on feed and supplies, alternative therapy practices, equine health issues, environmental issues, and other concerns related to the state’s horse industry.
The Florida Horse Council is a not-for-profit, 501(c) 5 trade association.
